1) Do Moorhead residents and Norwegian Vikings have anything in common? 

 --- Moorhead residents were Norwegian Vikings'progenies, so they have same history and same cultural background. The earliest people who arrived Minnesota is Norwegian Viking. 

2) What dream did Robert Aps try to fulfill and why? What was his rationale? 

 --- Robert Aps had a dream that he wanted to build a ship and sail it to Nowegien with his brother, because he thought Norwegian was their hometown and they should sail the long ship which is also the main vessel for sailing of Vikings. And he made a plan by many books about Norwegian history and ships.There are some ship authorities and training authorities joint them.

3) Did Aps approach his project professionally? What steps were taken? 

 --- In my opinion, Aps approached his project very professionally. There are two reason, firstly, they made the plan according to many professional books about ships and Norwegian. Secondly, they had made a plan and follow it step by step. There are several main steps:Logging, Producing in Hawley Ship Yard, Construction,Christening,Crew volunteers for the project,Training and Voyage.Something special is the government of Minnesota gave them a lot support and they also overcame many difficulties during the project.

4) How did the Minnesotans support and implement the Hjemkomst project? 

---According to limited space to build the ship,the Hawley City Council purchased the building( Leslie Welter Potato Warehouse) and leased it to them to build the ship. And the government gave this project a lot focus and help them promote the project.

5) Reason the importance of the Hjemkomst project in the life of Moorhead community as well as its internationals significance.

---This project is very important to Cross-culture diversity. People who were belonged to Norwegian but had lived in Moorhead for many years then they went back, olds had brought Norwegian's tradition and culture to Moorhead and after assimilating and adapting their culture with American culture, they brought the diversity and cross-cultural fruit to Norwegian again. By the way ,the good characters of these members of this project also should be learned by people, such as brave, passion.
